Pristine Safety and Security and its trainers have many years of first-hand knowledge and experience within the professional services which include the Police, Armed Forces, Paramedics, Fire Service as well as extensive experience within the Private and Corporate Security Industry. Our Consulting Director Paul Smith has over 25 years of progressive knowledge, experience and skills within security services and counter-terrorism and has held operational roles, protection roles, supervisory and senior management roles in high paced challenging environments. Paul has extensive training, teaching, assessing and internal and external quality assurance practical knowledge and experience in many settings and environments including occupational and vocational qualifications. He currently acts as head of awarding centres, an exams officer, a quality assurer, an assessor, and an instructor offering accredited qualifications as well as specialist and bespoke qualifications. The aim of Pristine Safety and Security is to offer our clients combined service solutions to meet their needs and requirements by demonstrating and providing bespoke packages to fit the needs of our client and not by offering services which are certainly not needed or not required. By offering our clients the bespoke needs based packages removes the stress and contributes to improvement in the quality of training, assessment and quality assurance practices and procedures while ultimately improving the learning and development of the learners. We have a very clear understanding of the processes involved in training, assessment, and quality assurance; we are flexible and adaptable, professional and approachable. We are able to work remotely or on the client’s site. We can arrange Continuous Professional Development activities which lead to the best practice in training, assessment, and quality assurance, we can help identify areas of development and plan, organise and offer facilitation in standardisation as well as offer our continued and ongoing support.
We believe we are unique in the sense that we do not compete for business with other training providers as our experience has shown that training quality is greatly reduced in training that is offered by providers simply based upon cost alone. Without disrespecting other providers reduced cost more than most means the use of freelance trainers who are not accredited, licensed and in some occasions not qualified to deliver the training being offered. The pristine guarantee is that our trainers are fully qualified to deliver, assess and quality assure the courses in which we offer and we are happy to provide our proof documentation to clients.
We are a registered centre with the Awarding Organisation Qualifications Network who is approved by OFQUAL. We deliver qualifications on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). We are also a fully licensed centre with the National Federation for Personal Safety (NFPS). We have been personally trained, vetted and audited by NFPS, to ensure that we have the appropriate resources, qualifications, skills, and training to be able to deliver BTEC Awards to a competent standard. As a minimum, all our trainers have successfully achieved the following qualifications:
BTEC Level 3 Advanced Award in Physical Restraint Instruction. All qualified NFPS Trainers who hold the BTEC Level 3 Advanced Award in Physical Restraint Instruction will also have the NFPS logo on their website and are competently qualified to deliver the range of BTEC Awards and the Module 4 Physical Intervention Unit of the Door Supervisors License to Practice Award to a competent standard.
